Towards some ecological practices of mathematics learning, teaching and
researching
(Προς κάποιες οικολογικές πρακτικές στη μάθηση των μαθηματικών, στη
διδασκαλία και στην έρευνα) In this talk, Alf will point to a revolution
in thought, across disciplines, towards the ecological (i.e., the study of
relations in contexts) and ask, what does this mean for mathematics
education? He will propose a relational view of mathematical concepts,
consider ecological approaches to mathematics teaching and teacher
education, and, finally, offer some thoughts towards ecological
approaches to researching in mathematics education.
