Τίτλος: Site percolation and isoperimetric inequalities for plane graphs

Περίληψη: Benjamini and Schramm influenced greatly the development of percolation theory beyond the usual Z^d setting by stating several open problems. In this talk, motivated by some of  their conjectures, we will prove upper bounds for the site percolation threshold of plane graphs with given minimum degree conditions. In the process, we will prove tight new isoperimetric bounds for certain classes of hyperbolic graphs. Joint work with John Haslegrave.
