Τίτλος: Abstract Harmonic Analysis and Non-Commutative Functional Analysis

Περίληψη: I shall present a survey of recent advances in abstract harmonic
analysis, emphasizing the use of non-commutative, i.e. quantized,
functional analysis, and leading towards the development of Fourier
analysis on locally compact quantum groups (in the sense of
Kustermans-Vaes). In particular, I shall discuss some of my recent work,
with co-authors, on the structure of completely bounded multipliers
associated with groups and quantum groups. The talk will illustrate
fruitful interactions between harmonic analysis, Banach and operator
algebra as well as operator space theory, with applications in quantum
information theory.
