The mathematical part of this third edition of Festum Pi will be composed of a summer school (July 8th-14th) followed by an international conference (July 15th-20th). Both events will be focused on recent developments in analysis and mathematical physics: leading experts will deliver lectures about kinetic and fluid equations, elliptic and parabolic systems, crowd motion, optimal transport, resonances, etc.
The summer school will gather around 45 graduate students and postdocs, who will attend 5 mini-courses, each divided into three 1.5 hours sessions. The blend of Greek students and international students will foster a genuine atmosphere of integration. Students are encouraged to stay for the international conference, which will consist of around fifteen 1 hour lectures. A lot of free time will be left to participants, in order to foster scientific discussions and the emergence of new collaborations.
